Mō te tūnga | The role

This role is a fixed term role based in Auckland. Reporting to the General Manager- Collection Operations, your initial main focus areas will be:

  • Culture and Leadership development for managers and teams within Collection Operations with a firm focus on new and improved ways of working
  • Development and implementation of a long term (at least 12 months) training plan and content to support the transition of our staff to a more flexible and broad- based way of working
  • Working with our internal MaÌ„ori capability, plan and deliver training which will improve staff understanding and alignment with the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ao MaÌ„ori.

You'll build strong relationships with the leaders in Collection Operations to influence and support them and their teams to implement the change created by a recent, significant restructure. You will bring your strong change leader expertise and flexible approach and be the go-to manager for the change activities in Collection Operations.

Starting salary: $110,000 - $140,000 negotiable

Mōu | About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring:

  • An open and fresh approach, inclusive and collaborative style and the desire to support influence large-scale change
  • A proven track record of 5+ years in a change manager role across a wide range of projects and delivery mechanisms
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including presentation skills) and a proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the project and programme discipline. Be fully competent at planning, risk management and dependency management
  • Have strong experience working with leaders and staff of all levels of the organisation in a high-change environment
  • Knowledge/familiarity or a commitment to learning/understanding Te Ao Māori, in order to understand and contribute meaningful work and outcomes for Māori communities
